There are some great shows on this Christmas in London which are hugely entertaining and women will love, they are very fun and so great for some Christmas cheer! Our girls love a good fun show as they are so enjoyable, these are their favourites:
A Christmas Carol
This musical is hosted in the Elizabethan Middle Temple Hall. Follow the story of Ebenezer Scrooge and the many ghosts that try to change his ways about the Christmas period. This classic is great for both children and adults, with plenty of nostalgia to be had. This musical runs from December 20th until December 30th so you can attend at any time over the holidays.
This show is a dance adaptation of the Tim Burton film Edward Scissorhands. It tells of the poor man who has scissors for hands, and how he struggles for acceptance in a small town. Bourne has taken a new approach to this musical classic, but he has kept the music of Danny Elfman so if you are a fan of the film you’ll find plenty of enjoyment in this classic. This show runs from December 9th to January 11th at Sadler’s Wells.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
This show is held at Rose Theatre Kingston, and it runs from December 9th to January 4th. This story is a take from the C. S. Lewis classic. It is great for children, and the show as a whole is very entertaining with backdrops, exciting decorations and more.
The National Theatre is hosting the Treasure Island classic this year. Bryony Lavery has adapted this classic, into a winter show that is a must-see for anyone who is a fan of the story. It also features the experimental theatre company Frantic Assembly, with shows starting from the 9th of December right up until February 19th.
