London is a great city that is steeped in a lot of great history dating back several hundred years and today there are many tours and museums to commemorate the history of the city. If museums and such aren’t your cup of tea then do not despair as there will definitely be more things for you to do than you can possibly mention. I will try to cover as many things as possible to make your experience of London during the day time and the night time as memorable as possible.
To start off with I will mention some activities for you to start your day off with. This year there has been a lot of talk about World War I, so why not hear some of the stories and the history retold at the imperial war museum. If you are into thought provoking history then the imperial war museum is a great place for you to unwind while still learning some interesting facts about the history behind London and the UK as a whole.
Of course London has some great sites and architecture, all of which really make London the place it is. You can take many open bus tours of the city and see all the sites such as Westminster and the Abbey and World famous house of parliament and of course Big Ben which should be seen by everyone that comes to London at any point. Many other great things to see around London include Regents Park, which boasts London zoo as well as lots of great open space to just have a picnic and relax.
If museums and educational trips aren’t your thing then maybe you could just get onto the London eye and sit for a while as the wheel spins round and offers you up some great views of the city as well as the experience of being on one of London’s most iconic landmarks of recent years.
Keeping along the lines of iconic landmarks of recent years you could go to the recently constructed building, which boasts to be the tallest building in Western Europe, The Shard. Although the shard is a very recently constructed building it has quickly risen to the top (no pun intended) of famous landmarks in London. Standing at an impressive 1016 feet tall with a viewing platform aptly named, “The View From The Shard” standing at 800 feet tall that offers a simply breath taking view of the city. If you thought the views from the London Eye where good you have seen nothing yet as the view from the shard stand at double the height of the London eye and on a clear day you can easily see up to 40miles away from the Shard. This is a spectacular view that should not be missed. The viewing platform has three levels and you can choose to look out from the safety of being inside or you can venture out to the platform that is open to the elements. Although this may not be the best option if you have a fear of heights.
Sticking with The Shard I will mention some of the options it provides you as far as food and drink is concerned. We all know that looking at the breath taking views can be thirsty work so you can take a trip to “Aqua Shard” which is a bar on the 31st floor the The Shard and offers you the opportunity of having a drink while looking over the city. Moving up the 32nd and 33rd floors there “Oblix” and “Hutong” respectively. The latter of which is a great Chinese restaurant boasting a menu of Sichuan and Northern Chinese cuisine. Hutong was a restaurant that originally started as an upmarket Chinese haunt in Hong Kong and the branch in the Shard is no different and offers great views, great food and fantastic interior.
Of course London offers some of the world’s best nightlife that you will of course need to experience. London has so many venues for you that I couldn’t even begin to name them all. The correct venue for you will be determined by what you are looking for. Are you looking for an upmarket club where you can were your best suit and have a good time them places such as Amika or Cirque du Soir may be your best options. Both of these clubs are exclusive and you need to get your name on the guest list to get in. There are many sites that offer services to help you get on to the guest lists.
If you are into house Music then the famous Ministry of Sound club could be a good venue for you to visit in South London. Leicester Square tend to be the most popular area for visitors to London to hit the clubs but as a result tend to be slightly more expensive than other places but you will get to experience some more of what London has to offer.
If you are more into specific genres of music there are many clubs all around London that specialise in just one genre of music and as in many places some clubs have themed nights where they specialise for that night but the next night the specialty will be something different. Some such specialised clubs are Fabric for hip hop and drum n bass and the famous and long standing Jazz venue Ronnie Scott’s.
Of course another part of the nightlife is the great escort girls that will be ready for your service when you are in London. While you are here you will be able to find extremely attractive women regardless of your tastes or preferences. There are escorts of all kinds like gorgeous brunettes to stunning blondes. If you are into a young Asian escorts, Indian Escorts, Eastern European Escorts or just a standard good ole London girl it’s no problem. All of the different kinds of escorts can be found as young fresh, ready and able attractive women all the way to mature women with a bit more experience to impart on you. Thin and slender all the way to big beautiful women, it’s all covered. I think you get the picture that London offers anything you can imagine and all with great discrete service so do not delay you visit to London any longer.
As you can now see the options you have during the day and night are endless in London and there is enough to spend so much time doing all the great activities and still not get even slightly close to doing them all. So whatever your tastes for day time and night time leisure as well as food and drink London has you covered. You may even discover something new that you have never tried before. London is a great experience that you should definitely have in the very near future.
